Hilux the indestructible gets a makeover

“Notorious as the car Top Gear couldn’t
kill, Toyota’s Hilux is at least susceptible
to cosmetic surgery – with a redesigned
version available from October,” reports
the Mail on Sunday.

“The 2012 Hilux has a new bonnet,
grille, lights, bumpers, wheels and
dashboard, and high-end models now
come with a 6.1-inch touchscreen sat-nav
with reversing camera.
“The engine choice is still between
2.5-litre and 3.0-litre diesel, but these now
return 38mpg and 36mpg. Prices start at
