Within the awards the Toyota Prius T3 and T Spirit with Solar Panel was awarded first in the green car category, with the Toyota Prius T3 and T Spirit coming second.

The Prius' hybrid phenomenon continues to break new ground and stay one step ahead of its peers. Its improved Hybrid Synergy Drive® system and sleeker looks give it an even higher feel good factor, and it's a surprisingly easy car to live with. Spacious, attractive and with no emissions in EV mode despite a more powerful engine, Prius is still the trailblazer for hybrid motoring.

The Green Award (from 2010) is given to the candidate vehicle with the lowest carbon dioxide emissions figure as measured in g/km using the “combined” cycle (the urban and the extra-urban cycle together) of the official fuel consumption test procedure as set out in 80/1268/EEC (as last amended by 2004/3/EC). In the event of a tie, vehicles will be placed according to the highest combined NVSR points score for “theft of” and “theft from”, and then according to the methodology set out above.
