Toyota comes to Ben's rescue

Toyota has “kindly supplied” BEN’s Birch Hill Residential Care Centre a top-of-the-range RAV4 on a complimentary, long-term loan, reports 3D Car Shows.

Toyota GB’s Head of CSR and Environmental Affairs was prompted “came up with the perfect solution” after learning that heavy snowfall can be a particular burden on the centre, which is located near Berwick upon Tweed.

BEN’s Chief Executive, David Main said: “When the weather closes in on this neck of the woods, it really closes in and the surrounding country roads can become almost impassable. In the past, we have had to beg or borrow alternative transport wherever we could from local dealers, who have always responded magnificently.

“However, Toyota’s generosity in providing us with this superb 4-wheel drive vehicle means that we will now never again have to worry about getting staff in and out, keeping our residents mobile if they need to get to appointments, etc and generally keeping Birch Hill moving.” (Link: 3D Car Shows,
